Pioneer Boys & Girls of America

Our Pioneer Emblem

Pioneer Boys & Girls of America

The Pioneer emblem is that of the American Eagle, over which is inscribed PIONEER BOYS OF AMERICA. You will also note it is that which is used by the Federal Government and is displayed as the emblem of the President of these United States. Be proud of your emblem and know what it stands for. Every part of it has an important meaning.

The five principle parts of the PIONEER Emblem:

  1. The Eagle represents Power, Strength and Might, like the mighty bird it is.
  2. The head of the Eagle faces to the right towards Honor.
  3. The shield in front of the Eagle showing stars and stripes stands for these United States.
  4. The wreath of Laurel in the claw stands for Peace and Bravery.
  5. The arrows in the other claw stands for Courage and Protection.
